Chelal Tea Factory hosted a delegation from the German Tea and Herbal Association who are in the country to appreciate the production of quality teas from Kenya for mutual benefit in tea.
The delegation comprising 23 executives from different tea companies were delighted to experience the smallholder value chain and the immense benefit it holds for rural communities.
Germany is a key market for KTDA’s orthodox teas and the Agency is keen to expand our market footprint in the country and the larger Europe.
