KTDA is the third largest tea produce in the World. We are the single largest exporter of tea in the World, Managing over 300,000 acres under tea. KTDA is owned by over 650,000 small-scale tea farmers and in 2024, the annual payout to the farmers stood at Kshs 88.5 billion. 

As Kenya’s second-largest foreign exchange earner, KTDA plays a critical role in both National economic growth, employment and rural development. With a farmer led model, KTDA has profoundly invested along the tea value chain serving over 71 tea Factories.
