KTDA Chairman David Ichoho on Wednesday 10th May presided over the site handover for the construction of a new orthodox production at Ndarugu Tea Factory in Kiambu County. KTDA Orthodox tea is increasingly popular in Russia, Pakistan and Egypt. Eleven KTDA managed factories now produce orthodox as a product diversification measure aimed at increasing farmers’ earnings.
