KTDA Chairman National Enos Njeru last week paid a courtesy visit to Chelal Tea Factory, where he engaged with factory leadership on matters affecting tea production and the welfare of smallholder farmers. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss ways of strengthening factory operations, improving tea quality and productivity, and ensuring farmers continue to derive greater value from their tea. The Chairman reaffirmed KTDA’s commitment to putting farmers at the heart of its operations and working closely with factories to build a stronger and more sustainable tea sector.
