KTDA National Chair Champions African Orthodox Tea Brand

KTDA National Chairman Chege Kirundi has emphasized the importance of building a strong African Orthodox tea brand, noting that KTDA has the capacity and expertise to produce high-quality orthodox teas.

Speaking during the ongoing African Orthodox Tea Festival, Mr. Kirundi said the push for orthodox teas aligns with KTDA’s commitment to add value to Kenyan teas and increase earnings for smallholder tea farmers.

“Orthodox teas will help diversify our tea offerings and unlock new international markets,” he said, addressing a gathering of orthodox tea processors and buyers.
