KTDA National Chairman, Chege Kirundi, addressed the Directors Conference, bringing together Directors from 71 KTDA-managed tea factories, Senior Management and Subsidiary heads.
He reflected on last year’s challenges, including low crop volumes, rising production costs, and market disruptions. Despite these hurdles, KTDA remained committed to transparency and accountability, keeping farmers’ interests at the forefront. Chairman Kirundi emphasized the lessons learned and the strategies in place to strengthen operations going forward.
Looking ahead, he expressed optimism about new market opportunities, improved efficiency, and sustainable growth. He encouraged all directors, subsidiary heads, and factory management to stay focused, assuring farmers of better performance and returns this year.
