Over 600 residents from the Chinga Tea Factory catchment turned up at Gichiche Primary School in Othaya, Nyeri County, last Saturday for a free medical camp aimed at bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community. ‎

OVER 600 Chinga Tea Factory CATCHMENT RESIDENTS BENEFIT FROM FREE MEDICAL SERVICES ON SATURDAY

‎ Over 600 residents from the Chinga Tea Factory catchment turned up at Gichiche Primary School in Othaya, Nyeri County, last Saturday for a free medical camp aimed at bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.
‎
‎Tea farmers, their families, workers and other residents accessed a range of services, including cancer screening, diabetes and hypertension checks, eye and dental services, ENT screening, nutritional counselling, health education and medical consultations.
‎
‎The event was graced by Hon. Michael Wambugu Wainaina, MP for Othaya, Mr David Ndungu, KTDA Zone 4 Board Member, Chinga Tea Factory Directors and Factory Management.
‎
‎The successful initiative was made possible through the partnership of Chinga Tea Factory, KTDA Foundation, Majani Insurance Brokers Limited, Kenya Clinical Officers Association Nyeri Branch, and other valued partners.
‎
‎We appreciate all the healthcare professionals, partners, leaders, farmers and residents who came out in large numbers and contributed to making the medical camp a success.
