• Tirgaga Tea Factory Company Limited was commissioned in 12th May 2007 under the management of KTDA. It is a satellite of Kapkoros Tea Factory.

Factory Location:

• Tirgaga Tea Factory lies 35.8 Degrees east and 0.75 Degrees South.The altitude is 2,200M above sea level.
• The factory is located on the boundary of Aisaik and Kabusare sub-location, in Bomet Central divison of Bomet District in Rift Valley Province. It is under region 5 of KTDA managed Tea Factories.
• It is about 255km South East of Nairobi.

Climatic Conditions:

• Rainfall: Optimum condition is about 1500mm-2500mm annually with good soil drainage.
• Temperatures: Optimum range is between 12.7 degrees C – 28 degrees C
• Altitude: 1500 m – 2250 m above the sea level i.e about (4500ft – 6750ft).

Soil:

• Is of good drainage, 2m depth of red loamy soil, P.h measuring 4 – 6.5.
