KTDA Forest Officer George Oselu (left) demonstrates to pupils from Ihuririo primary school in Othaya constituency how to plant fruit tree seedlings, during a planting exercise at their school on 8th July, 2018. Dubbed “Greening Kenya”, the project is jointly carried out by KTDA Foundation, Gitugi Tea Factory and Taylors of Harrogate whose aim is to plant 6,000 seedlings within two months across 28 schools. Ihuririo, alongside Kagonye, Gathumbi and Kihome primary schools, received an 8000-litre water tank each. The tanks were jointly donated by Ringtons and Taylors of Harrogate.
