KTDA Management Services Ltd, on behalf of Thumaita Tea Factory Company, invites tenders from interested firms / individuals for sale of
the above subject land as specified in the tender documents.
Size and Location
The property comprises of three main land parcels located in Embu County with Mbeti/Gachuriri/1591-(30.36 acres) and Mbeti/
Gachuriri/1594 -(77.58acres) forming two blocks and Mbeti/Kiamuringa/958- (20.82 acres) forming another block.
Mbeti/Gachuriri/1591 and Mbeti/Gachuriri/1594 are located in Kangeta village, Gachuriri sub location in Embu County. The parcels are
easily accessed via a tarmac and an all-weather road almost 12KM off Embu-Kiritiri highway branching at Gachoka shopping center. The
land parcels are approximately 2KM from Kangeta Shopping Centre
Mbeti/Kiamuringa/958 land parcel is a few kilometers within the same locality. The property is accessible via an all-weather road branching
off at Cianyi shopping centre along Embu-Siakago Road almost 15KM from Siakago town. The land parcel is approximately 8.5KM from
Kiananu Secondary School.
Interested eligible firms may obtain detailed tender document from the procurement office located on third floor Majani Plaza, Koinange
Street, Nairobi during office hours upon payment of the non- refundable registration fee. The documents may also be requested upon

KTDA makes no representation regarding the title for or any other matters relating to the land including the environmental condition of
the land to be sold. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchaser. The sale of the said land is subject
to a reserve price. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered and the relevant land transfer fees. Prospective
purchasers are encouraged to view the land before bidding. The Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications
without the obligation to assign any reason for the decision.

Completed tender documents should be deposited in the tender box at the reception on ground floor, Majani Plaza, Koinange Street
Nairobi, so as to be received not later than 17th October,2023 at 9:30 AM. Opening shall be on the same day.
Tender opening shall be virtual through a video link. Bidders shall be provided with the log-in credentials before the tender opening.
