Peninah Mweru, FUM, Mununga tea factory, joins Kenya Forestry Service staff, members of Friends of Nature and the local community in a recent tree planting exercise in Mt Kenya Forest. The factory planted more than 5,000 trees as part of their contribution towards forest conservation. By the end of 2018, all the 68 KTDA-managed factories in partnership with KTDA Foundation will have planted a total of 500,000 trees in tea catchment areas.
