KTDA Power Company (KTPC) Ltd manages a number of small hydropower plants operating in Kenya tea
growing areas on behalf of regional power companies. The small hydropower plants ranges from 1.0 MW to
6 MW. The power generated from these hydro plants is used in the shareholder’s tea processing factories
and the excess is fed to national grid under PPA.
To ensure efficient and reliable operation of the power plants, KTPC intends to prequalify eligible civil,
electrical contractors and electromechanical(EM) maintenance and service contractors for provision of the
above category of works for a period of five years.
Interested eligible contractors may obtain the pre-qualification/tender documents from procurement
office located on first Floor KTDA Farmers Building, Moi Avenue during office hours upon payment of
