- Rianyamwamu Tea Factory is situated 15 Kms from Kisii town.
- It is 330 Kms to the west of Nairobi measured along Narok, Bomet, Kaplong, Keroka and Kisii. (5 Kms off Keroka – Kisii road at Kegati Junction).

Natural Features:
- The factory is located in Kisii central district which lies to the South west of Kericho Town; west of Mau Escarpment; west of the great Masai Mara game reserve and east of Lake Victoria giving wet and warm weather.

- Volcanic reddish brown latosols mostly ferrasols and nitrosols
Climate:
- Temperature average 13.5 degree Celsius maximum 25 degree Celsius
- The average amount of rainfall is 2000 mm per annum and well distributed all year round but characterized by bi-modal rainfall pattern with long rains during April-May and short rains during September-November.
Management:
- Rianyamwamu is a satellite of Kiamokama tea factory and therefore it shares the board of directors Of Kiamokama.
Commissioning:
- The factory was commissioned on 1 June, Year 2011.
Clones of tea:
- It manufactures black CTC teas.
Capacity:
- The factory is designed to handle 5 million kilograms of green tea leaves per annum.
- Technology applied includes: withering with variable speed drives, continuous fermenting system, vibro fluidized bed drying

- The factory shares 5995 growers with Kiamokama Tea Factory.
